Riverside Unified Mental Health CARESpace Workshop

The Riverside Unified CAREspace is a unique program that provides essential services to those in need. CAREspace provides various resources tailored to the individual and family needs, including individual counseling, family counseling, Lucky PAWS, parent workshops, classroom presentations, staff training, resources, and referrals. In addition, CAREspace serves all community members regardless of socio-economic or cultural backgrounds.
Riverside Unified offers free mental health workshops for parents and students, so they have up-to-date information about current mental health topics bothering students around the country. Here are the dates for the upcoming seminars:
Childhood Bipolar Disorder & Schizophrenia
Understanding Bipolar and Schizophrenia, their causes, and resources for support.

The CAREspace team works hard to ensure clients promptly receive the help they need with respect and kindness. We are dedicated to providing those who come under CAREspace are given the opportunity for a better future.
With flexible evening hours to support student and family needs, CAREspace provides services Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm (excluding holidays).
Riverside County Office of Education's Mental Health Initiative, launched in 2020 by Riverside County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Edwin Gomez, is based on the Carespace vision. One of four projects under the initiative focuses on meeting students' mental health needs beyond academics and class time.
CAREspace takes the time to meet with students and parents one-on-one and give them the support they need when they are having trouble in their lives. Their mission is to make sure everyone has access to good services through arts and enrichment (CAREspace) are here to help their 23 Riverside County school districts, not to compete with the services and supports that already exist. CAREspace is another option for kids in Riverside County looking for something in their neighborhood.
Student Hires Programs and Mental Health
Student Hires offers invaluable opportunities for disadvantaged youth to gain career-readiness skills through its hands-on experiential K-12 expanded learning programs led by college students.
Programs help students gain confidence, valuable mental health resources, exposure to different career paths, a greater understanding of financial literacy, and the ability to better prepare for ongoing education. Such exposure can help break generational cycles of poverty and give these amazing kids the mental and emotional strength needed to turn their lives around positively now and in the future.
