About Anna A. Borba Elementary School

As an AVID school, Anna A. Borba Elementary School teaches its students to become academic scholars through Writing and note-taking skills, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organizational strategies, and Reading (WICOR). These students have opportunities to practice the different strategies throughout the school day and across curricula. Anna Borba teaches students what it takes to be successful as a student and in life. Student Hires has partnered with Anna A. Borba Elementary School since March of 2024.

The student hires after school program has been a wonderful experience for my TK and 2nd grader. They get to enjoy crafts, do homework time, and other fun activities like water play. The kids enjoy the program so much that they tell me to pick them up at the end of the program, and are upset if I pick them up early! This is awesome because I do not have to worry at all about leaving them. Thank you for this!
